WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 31, 2025 – INCOMPAS, the internet and competitive networks association, today announced that Keith Matthews has been promoted to the role of Director of Communications for the association. In his new role, Matthews will be directly responsible for ensuring the execution of a unified media and communications strategy in support of INCOMPAS’ priorities and strategic goals related to policy initiatives, membership and event objectives.

“The impact Keith has had on creating digital strategies to elevate the profile and influence of not only INCOMPAS, but the internet, communications and technology industries has been astonishing,” said INCOMPAS CEO Chip Pickering. “Under his guidance, INCOMPAS has taken a significant leap forward in the implementation of digital campaigns and growth strategies to expand our presence in the digital ecosystem. I am pleased to announce his promotion to Director of Communications and look forward to his future contributions.”
Matthews joined INCOMPAS in January 2024, serving as Digital Media Manager where he was responsible for amplifying the association’s digital brand, PR and influence within the industry. He was instrumental in overseeing the launch of INCOMPAS’ new website and growing the association’s year-over-year digital media presence.
Prior to joining the INCOMPAS team, Matthews worked for both the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Auto Care Association, as the digital lead directly responsible for the development and execution of their digital campaigns and strategies. A graduate of Bowie State University, Matthews earned his B.S in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
