WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 18, 2025 – Last week, INCOMPAS filed comments with the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) on their Request for Information (RFI) seeking assistance with shaping the Trump administration’s new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Plan.
Representing competitive communications, infrastructure, technology leaders and now energy companies, INCOMPAS has a long and consistent history of championing policies that foster innovation, competition, and consumer choice. Through the Artificial Intelligence Competition Center (AICC), INCOMPAS now seeks to educate stakeholders on AI and to chart a policy path forward for every sector of the U.S. economy.
“Sensible policies with appropriate safeguards will ensure AI is integrated securely into the economy while encouraging continuous innovation and investment,” said INCOMPAS CEO Chip Pickering. “We believe in an ‘All of the Above’ approach to AI policy where both open source and closed AI models are able to advance to meet marketplace demands.”
“With a focus on issues concerning economic leadership, innovation and infrastructure modernization, INCOMPAS urges the OSTP to consider these recommendations as it continues its efforts to develop the administration’s AI policy,” Pickering added.
