WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 20, 2025 – INCOMPAS, the internet and competitive networks association, today announced that X-energy, a leader in advanced nuclear reactor and fuel technology, has joined the association to support INCOMPAS’ AI initiatives and the work being done by its AI Competition Center (AICC).
“Collaboration is needed to address the energy needs for advanced technologies. A reliable, clean energy supply, leveraging advanced nuclear technologies, such as small modular reactors (SMRs), promise the enhanced safety, flexibility and reliability to support AI’s growing energy requirements,” said INCOMPAS CEO Chip Pickering. “We are excited to work with X-energy in establishing the policy framework America needs to meet the rising energy demand related to AI, data centers and advanced manufacturing hubs.”
