Q: What are the biggest challenges that your company faces and how is it overcoming them?
The communications industry faces a threat environment that is evolving faster than ever. AI is now being weaponized by bad actors to generate more convincing spoofed calls, deepfake voice attacks and automated scam campaigns at a scale and speed that outpaces traditional defenses. At the same time, TNS is leveraging AI to fight back, using AI-driven analytics and machine learning through platforms like TNS Call Guardian to identify fraudulent call patterns. The challenge is staying ahead of adversaries who are using the same tools.
As the industry shifts to 5G, cloud-native architectures and IP-based networks, CSPs must modernize without disrupting the carrier-grade availability, reliability and service levels that their customers depend on. TNS helps make that transition manageable through solutions like Hosted Cloud Connect, which allows CSPs to migrate from legacy Time-Division Multiplexing networks to scalable IP-based infrastructure through a low-risk, phased approach, without sacrificing performance or continuity.
Cost pressure is another reality. Infrastructure, energy and human resource costs are rising for CSPs and enterprises alike. TNS addresses this directly by offering Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions that reduce operational overhead, eliminate the burden of managing complex network infrastructure in-house and allow customers to focus resources on growing their business rather than maintaining it.
Finally, the regulatory landscape around robocall mitigation, call authentication and outbound communications compliance continues to intensify globally. TNS helps CSPs and enterprises navigate requirements from the FCC and other regulators through solutions that provide authoritative, real-time telephone number data, STIR/SHAKEN call authentication and automated compliance support, so customers can operate with confidence and minimize legal exposure.
Q: What sets you apart from other companies?
The TNS Communications Business brings unmatched expertise in building, operating, securing, managing and evolving telecom infrastructure on a global scale, and has done so for decades. TNS understands the intricacies and complexity of how networks function, interconnect and evolve, making the complex comprehensible for the CSPs, enterprises and organizations that depend on them. That deep, hands-on knowledge of the inner workings of global telecom, including the interoperability challenges, the technological impacts on networks and the regulatory demands, is what has kept people connected, businesses running and commerce flowing for more than 30 years.
TNS operates in more than 60 countries and processes over 1.9 billion call events daily, giving it access to large-scale telecom data and analytics capabilities that few competitors can match. This scale, combined with decades of carrier-grade infrastructure expertise, allows TNS to deliver end-to-end managed solutions that help customers reduce operational complexity and modernize their networks more efficiently than standalone software alternatives.
TNS is a global leader in robocall mitigation, branded calling and caller authentication. As robocalls and spoofing continue to increase globally, telecom CSPs and enterprises rely on TNS to improve trust in voice communications, reduce fraud and help ensure regulatory compliance, including through deep experience with STIR/SHAKEN and evolving digital identity frameworks.
TNS’s long-standing relationships with major telecom carriers, wireless providers and enterprises worldwide reflect the trust the industry places in TNS as a mission-critical partner, not just a vendor. Through continued investment in acquisitions, AI and cloud-based telecom services, TNS helps its customers stay ahead as the communications industry evolves toward 5G, cloud-native infrastructure and digital identity solutions.
Q: How is the evolving communications marketplace impacting your business model?
The communications industry is undergoing its most significant transformation in decades, and TNS is at the center of it. Digital transformation, 5G expansion, cloud migration, AI and escalating fraud risks are reshaping how CSPs, enterprises and consumers connect and communicate. TNS has evolved its business model to lead in the areas where this transformation is most acute: trusted communications, identity intelligence, advanced analytics and cloud-based telecom infrastructure.
The erosion of trust in voice communications is one of the most pressing challenges facing the industry today. Spoofing, phishing and relentless robocall campaigns have made consumers and businesses increasingly wary of unknown calls. TNS is directly addressing this by expanding its branded calling, call authentication, fraud prevention and reputation analytics capabilities to help restore confidence in every interaction.
At the same time, the industrywide shift to cloud-native infrastructure and 5G is accelerating demand for the modernization services TNS has built over decades. As CSPs retire legacy systems in favor of flexible, scalable architectures, TNS provides the carrier-grade connectivity, signaling, routing and hosted communications solutions that make that transition possible.
Phone numbers have also become a critical form of digital identity, used every day for customer verification, authentication and engagement. TNS has responded with significant investment in identity intelligence, AI-driven analytics and trusted caller technologies that help CSPs and enterprises verify communications, strengthen brand authority and reduce fraud.
Furthermore, regulatory pressure around robocall mitigation, telecom fraud and call authentication continues to intensify globally. As a deeply established telecom infrastructure and compliance services provider, TNS is well positioned to help CSPs and enterprises meet evolving requirements with confidence.
Q: Have you recently acquired new customers? Entered new markets? Added new services/products?
As fraud and customer expectations evolve, TNS is focused on strengthening the voice channel from end to end.
For enterprises, that means restoring trust and improving answer rates through the TNS Branding and Call Authentication Suite, which includes Spoof Protection, Telephone Number Reputation Monitoring and Enterprise Branded Calling. TNS continues to invest in and expand this suite as the threat landscape and customer needs evolve.
TNS Hosted Cloud Connect enables CSPs to migrate from legacy TDM networks to scalable, IP-based architectures through a low-risk, phased approach. Built on TNS’s global, carrier-grade backbone, it reduces operational overhead while enabling new revenue-generating services across Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms, with built-in network redundancy and analytics capabilities. The result is faster time to market, simpler day-to-day operation and a more resilient network foundation.
