Q: Please tell us about your company history.

Intermedia was founded in 1993 with a vision to provide businesses with reliable, secure and scalable communication and collaboration solutions. Initially focused on email and web hosting services, the company quickly recognized the growing need for integrated cloud-based communication tools and evolved to meet those demands.

Over the years, Intermedia has expanded its portfolio to offer a full suite of cloud communications, collaboration, and contact center solutions, including Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). With over 150,000 business customers and 7,500 channel partners globally, our mission remains the same: to deliver easy-to-use, secure and highly reliable communication solutions that empower businesses to work better from wherever.

  • 2000 – Became the first company to launch Hosted Exchange Email Service
  • 2011 – Became the world’s largest independent provider of Hosted Exchange.
